FLT Driver and Production Operative

The successful candidate must have an in date Counterbalance licence and must take part in General Operative duties!

Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.00pm, 2pm finish on a Friday!

Pay Rate: £12.45 per hour (£12.55 after 3 months)

We are currently looking to recruit General Operatives / Counterbalance Drivers to join one of our prestigious clients in the chemicals industry. We have opportunities for enthusiastic and determined candidates to join their team, which could lead to full time employment.

    • Responsibilities

  • Working in a designated area to complete orders and follow targets
  • Machine minding
  • Measuring out chemicals
  • Quality work
  • Move goods packed on pallets around the warehouse
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, racking etc following inventory control instructions
  • Ensure loads are secure
  • Complete paperwork for delivery notes and stock control if requested
  • Scan the pallets and keep accurate record of stock movement (training will be provided)
  • Make sure the truck is operating safely and checked daily
  • Report any breakdowns, spills or malfunctions to the Manager
  • Assist with other loading activities as requested

    • Requirements

    • Experienced in the chemicals industry

    • A team player, with the ability to work unsupervised

    • Great attitude and work ethic

    • Excellent attendance
