Job Description - Forklift operator 

Osborne Appointments are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for our client, an Industrial business, based in Dereham, on an on-going temporary to permanent basis.

Candidates must have strong IT skills 

Hours of a Production Operative: Monday – Friday 06:30am to 4:30pm

Pay rate: £28,000 annual salary

Duties of a forklift operator

  • Picking using a picking sheet 
  • Packing the picked items ready for despatfh
  • Loading and unloading 
  • Knowledge of despatch
  • Adhering to all health and safety standards
  • Various duties to be taken once trained
  • Moving materials and equipment around the warehouse
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
  • Use of Counterbalance forklift 

    • Personal specification of forklift operative:

  • Counterbalance Forklift License
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Previous experience of working in in a Warehouse Environment 
  • Applicants must be able to work under pressure
  • Good computer literacy
  • Applicants must be able to under take a physically demanding role
