Join our dynamic team as a Fleet Manager, where you’ll oversee and optimise a diverse fleet of cars and vans, including owned, leased, and rented vehicles. Your pivotal role will involve sourcing and procuring new vehicles, managing their disposal, and maintaining high service levels across the business. You'll ensure our fleet operates efficiently and cost-effectively, analysing data and producing insightful reports to inform strategic decisions. With responsibilities that include budget management, regulatory compliance, and leading a team of drivers, you'll have the opportunity to propose innovative solutions, such as integrating greener vehicles to reduce our carbon footprint, significantly impacting our operational efficiency and sustainability. Core Responsibilities
Environmental Responsibilities
You will conduct thorough risk assessments for individuals and ensure compliance with all general health and safety protocols. This involves a detailed evaluation of potential hazards, implementing measures to mitigate risks, and documenting your findings, in compliance with New Forest Care Policy and Procedures.
Data Protection
Ensure all aspects of the role comply with Data Protection and GDPR, considering third-party risks, cyber threats, and data security.
Additional Duties
Be prepared to undertake additional duties or projects as assigned by the directors or line manager.
Safeguarding
Familiarise yourself with our Safeguarding Policy, ensuring you understand and comply with all its requirements. This is essential to protect the welfare and safety of the children in our care. Regularly review and stay updated on safeguarding procedures, actively participating in any necessary training or briefings.
