HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Description Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a HGV 1 driver on behalf of our client to join their team in LEEDS. Hours of work: DaysMonday to FridayStart times will be around 06.00hr but this may vary depending on the needs of the businessSalary: £14.72ph plus £1.78ph holiday pay ( Total inclusive of holiday pay £16.50 ) Leeds site. The Role: Container work / some general haulage / some trunkingDuties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence for 2 years plus.Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.Good communication skills.Good customer relations.Have a safe driving record.No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.INTERESTED?
