Job Description

In your role as LGV Driver, you will be operating refrigerated articulated vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled and ambient stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as local convenience stores for a major retailer.

Shifts:

• Thursday-Monday 06:00am. 
• Tuesday-Saturday 06:00am. 

Days Salary:

• Basic Monday-Friday - £13.36 per hour. 
• Overtime: M-F on completion of 50 hours per week & Saturdays - £16.03 per hour.
• Sundays and Bank Holidays - £20.04 per hour. 
• Disturbance Allowance per night where applicable - £42.20. 

• Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence – Newly qualified drivers welcomed.
• Current CPC
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers hours is desirable but not essential as full training is available if required.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced environment
• Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
