Job Description:

As a Post and Print Operative, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for managing various mail and print-related tasks to ensure efficient operations within our Canon Street office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mail Sorting: Sort incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently.

  • Mail Delivery: Distribute mail to the appropriate recipients within the office promptly.

  • Mail Scanning: Scan and digitize mail as required, ensuring digital copies are clear and correctly filed.

  • Courier Arrangements: Arrange for couriers for outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Delivery Management: Accept and manage incoming deliveries, ensuring items are logged and distributed correctly.

  • Print Jobs: Assist in processing print jobs, including printing, copying, and finishing tasks as required.

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to mail and print services.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all mail and print activities, including delivery logs and print job records.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain mailroom and print equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and arranging for repairs when necessary.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

  • Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a mailroom or print environment is desirable.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using mail and print equipment.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with scanning software.

  • Physical ability to handle packages and deliveries.
