7.5T Driver

Driver Hire Edinburgh City has an exciting opportunity for an experienced 7.5T driver to work alongside our client on an ad-hoc basis. This role may lead to a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Licence : C1 Licence
  • Certifications : Valid CPC & Digi tacho cards
  • Licence Points : Less than 6 points, no endorsements over 3 points
  • Physical Fitness : Capable of heavy lifting
  • Experience : Licence held for at least one year and at least 60 days of commercial driving experience within the last six months
  • Endorsements : No DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements

    • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine vehicle checks
  • Deliver to commercial and residential properties within the local and surrounding areas
  • Complete relevant paperwork
  • Work with an assisting porter for heavy lifting
  • Adhere to Health & Safety rules at all times

    • Benefits:

  • Pay Rates : Monday – Friday : £13.50 PAYE per hour Saturday : £18.75 PAYE per hour Sunday : £25.00 PAYE per hour Overtime (after 8 hours) : £18.75 PAYE per hour
  • Start Times : 7 am & 11 am
  • Minimum Pay : 8 hours guaranteed pay per day
  • Schedule : Ad-hoc shifts, ideal for fitting around other commitments
  • Payment : Weekly
  • Holiday : Accrual with every shift
