We have a fantastic opportunity for Ambulance Care Assistants to join our team based in Crewe on a bank (0 hour) contract 

This is an out of hours position Mon to Fri 16:00-06:00 / Sat 08:00-06:00 / Sunday 06:00-06:00. Please only apply if you can commit to these hours.

An Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) is a hugely rewarding and fulfilling role. Each day, you’ll be helping someone in need, making their lives that little bit easier, and knowing that you make a difference to their day provides you with a real sense of achievement.

Your main responsibility will be transporting elderly, sick and vulnerable service users to and from their medical appointments and between healthcare facilities. This can be carried out as two-person crews or alone, so it is vital to hold a full UK driving licence and to have a good degree of physical fitness.

Training

We are committed to colleague development and will invest in your training which includes First Aid and also provides you great opportunities to develop your career, skills and experience through a variety of training programmes. On joining EMED, you will have two weeks of paid training that will cover a range of courses like safeguarding, infection control, health and safety, manual handling and many more.
