HGV Class 2 Driver - Erith, Dartford & Belvedere - £16.75 - £17.50 per hour

Are you a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for work in the Erith, Dartford, and Belvedere areas?

Are you ready to hit the road with a leading agency? Pertemps is on the lookout for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to join our team and work with fantastic clients in the Erith, Dartford, and Belvedere areas!

Pay Rate: £16.75 - £17.50 per hour (depending on client and shift)

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Performing multi-drop deliveries to various locations.
  • Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
  • Maintaining a professional attitude while representing our agency and our clients.
  • Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
  • Manual handling is some cases 
Requirements:

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • Minimum 1.5y experience
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Digital tachograph card.
  • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent timekeeping.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Previous experience as a Class 2 driver is preferred.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your license (for minor offences).
