HGV Class 1 Driver | Coatbridge | Full Time – Monday to Friday | £42,000 - £45,000 Per Annum depending on experience
Our client is experiencing significant growth and is looking to expand their team of professional HGV Class 1 drivers. As a leading General freight carrier, they pride themselves on transporting goods with efficiency and care, offering a wide range of services including full loads, groupage, warehousing, and Customs clearance. Their modern fleet and dedication to quality service make them an employer of choice for those looking to advance their driving careers.
They are seeking a Class 1 driver operating across Scotland with a low loader, The role will involve some forklift driving on customers' sites.
Please note, this position requires sleeping out in the cab from Monday to Thursday, so applicants must be comfortable with overnight stays. If you're looking for a dynamic role with some travel, hands-on work, and don't mind being away from home during the week, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Are you the right person for the job?
- 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- Hold a current CPC, Digi card, and licence.
- Valid telehandler licence and CSR safety pass would be an advantage.
- Demonstrable reliability and a commitment to providing excellent service.
- A flexible attitude towards work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with smart devices and compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.
What will your role look like?
- Performing daily vehicle and trailer checks, keeping vehicles clean, and reporting any defects.
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with the team of Engineers and customers.
- Complying with all relevant driving regulations, company policies, and health and safety requirements.
