What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist and make a real difference in the lives of patients in the local community. In this role, the successful candidate will:
- perform holistic and person-centred assessments in patients’ homes or community settings
- create and implement tailored rehabilitation and treatment plans
- promote independence, mobility, and safety in the home environment
- work closely with multidisciplinary teams including OTs, nurses, and social care professionals
- support hospital discharge and admission avoidance through timely intervention
- maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation
Requirements & Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- current and valid HCPC registration
- experience in community physiotherapy or working with elderly and frail populations
- excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- the ability to work independently in the community (a car driver is typically essential)
- a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible position is primarily Monday to Friday, full-time, but part-time applicants are welcome. The role is expected to begin in April or May with an ongoing contract and potential for extension depending on service needs.
