At our Abbeyhill service, we currently support 4 individuals (3 ladies and a gentleman) who live in two adjoining, shared flats in Edinburgh city centre.
The people we support enjoy a wide range of different activities, like socialising, going for a walk, listening to music, dancing, arts and crafts and going shopping, going on holiday and generally being pampered (for the ladies!). They’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.
Our staff team are very supportive and experienced and provide support with:
•Medication administration•Cooking, home maintenance and financial management
•Social support and support to achieve personal goals
•Moving and positioning, including using a hoist (full training will be provided but prior experience is a big plus!)
We are currently recruiting for a female Support Worker for a 29 hour temporary role with flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday as follows:
