Hourly Temp Rate: £12.98 | Perm Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

The Role:
This temp-to-perm opportunity (3-month temporary period, transitioning to permanent) is ideal for a versatile Forklift Truck Driver/Yard Operative. The role combines practical yard work with direct customer service, requiring both physical resilience and a personable approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift truck safely to manage stock and load/unload vehicles.
- Manual handling of materials (lifting, stacking, and loading goods).
- Assist customers at the counter, picking orders, and resolving enquiries.
- Maintain a tidy, organised yard and adhere to strict health & safety standards.
- Valid forklift licence and experience in a similar role (yard, warehouse, or depot).
- Physical fitness for manual tasks and stamina for a full-time schedule.
- Strong customer service skills – friendly, professional, and solution-focused.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
- Availability to interview this week.
- Temp-to-perm stability with a respected local employer.
- Competitive hourly rate during probation, rising to £27k annually upon permanency.
- Consistent Monday-Friday hours – no weekend shifts.
