The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join Metcalfe Farms Haulage as an apprentice based at the company’s head office in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Customer Account Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop a career in Transport.This role is a full-time position. The first 56 weeks of your employment will be completing your apprenticeship. This is a workplace based role where you will complete the apprenticeship online and with all sessions with the training provider completed virtually.Key aspects of the role include:What You’ll Do:✅ Assist customers with inquiries via phone and email✅ Provide product/service information and resolve issues efficiently✅ Develop communication and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience✅ Work closely with different teams to ensure customer satisfaction✅ Gain valuable knowledge through structured training and mentorshipWhat We’re Looking For:✔️ Enthusiastic and eager to learn✔️ Good communication and interpersonal skills✔️ Ability to work well in a team and under pressure✔️ Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)✔️ Minimum qualifications: GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent✔️ No prior experience needed—just a willingness to grow and a passion for transport and logistics!What We Offer: Paid apprenticeship with a nationally recognized qualification in Customer Service Hands-on training and mentorship Career progression opportunities within the company Friendly and supportive work environment On-site ParkingThe Apprenticeship is a Transport Operator level 2. This will give the successful candidate a great understanding of a transport business.
