Role overview
We are looking for a part-time driver (3 days a week) to coordinate and carry out the collection and delivery of machinery, such as compact tractors, utility vehicles, mowing eqiupment and crop packaging within the Keighley area. This role supports both our Sales and Aftersales departments.
Essential Duties:
- Plan and execute collection and delivery runs efficiently and cost efficiently
- Transport goods and equipment to and from customer premises or designated locations, with the ability to strap and secure loads for transport safety
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth collection and delivery operations
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections
- Comply with legal requirments, driver logs, and other neccessary records. Techo if possible.
- Follow proper post-delivery procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, report any issues, and maintain neccessary records
- Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained
This role requires you to act in a professional manner and actively promote the Ripon Group with positivity and integrity. Knowledge of agricultural and horticultural equipment would be preferred but full training on products and systems will be provided.
You will be required to have a full clean driving licence, preferred with experience of driving a 7.5 tonne lorry, towing and forklift handling certififcation (Forklift training can be provided).
