Class 1 Driver in Telford

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers with a minimum of 6 months of experience for a well-established client based in Telford.

 

Job Description:

• Type of work: Refrigerated units RDC to RDC deliveries and collections (loading and unloading of palletized goods).
• Steady year-round work with consistent shifts.
• Long hours: 12+ hour shifts.
• Shift availability from Monday to Sunday.: Days / Afternoons / Nights.

 

Rates of Pay: PAYE with holiday including.

• Monday to Friday:
• Days £17.71 / Nights £18.86 per hour.
• Saturday:
• Days £21.14 / Nights £22.29 per hour.  
• Sunday:
• Days £22.29 / Nights £23.43 per hour. 

 

Additional Information:

• Assessment is required, lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours.
• Block bookings week in advance.

 

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Refrigerated unit driving experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
