Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers, to work within a well-established service, supporting 20 people in Liverpool. This service will be supporting people with complex mental health, whilst also promoting their choices, wellbeing and independence. In this service, we have a large team who have a wide range of skills, including mental health nurses, carers, support workers, community connectors, cooks and housekeeping staff. This service is a ground floor building, with 20 individual bedrooms and a number of shared facilities too. There is also both front and back gardens, which both staff and people supported can enjoy! The people supported here love to get involved with a range of different activities, such as; going to the cinema, arts and crafts, gardening, table tennis, bingo, listening to music, playing games and having spontaneous days out! People supported here would love their staff team to be motivated and have a passion for what they do, be open and honest, be non-judgemental, a team player and to also be kind, fun and outgoing! Your values: We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
